VIRUS UPDATE: Valencia records 536 new positives, down 75% on two weeks ago

By provinces, 51 new positives have been registered in Castellón, 220 in Alicante and 265 in the province of Valencia

536 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed through PCR or antigen tests; by province, the distribution of these new cases is 39 in Castellón, 308 in Valencia, and 308 in Alicante. In total, 378,269 positive cases have been recorded in the Comunidad Valenciana. There are currently 2 unassigned cases.


There have been a total of 10 new outbreaks of the disease across the Comunidad Valenciana; by province, the distribution is 8 in Valencia and 2 in Alicante, none of which were detected in the Marina Alta.

The origins of these new outbreaks in the Valencian region can be assigned as follows:
