The Ministry of Universal and Public Health in the Comunidad Valenciana plans to administer more than 279,000 doses of the four vaccine authorized in the European market in the next seven days.
Of the Pfizer vaccine, the largest amount will go to those in the 51-59 age group (113,875) with a reserve put aside to complete the vaccination for people over the age of 66. Part of these doses will also go to people with high-risk conditions. The total number of doses that will be administered this week is 203,844 doses.
Of the Moderna vaccine, 50,340 doses will be administered to those in the 51-59 age group whilst a part of these doses (8,600) will also go to people with high-risk conditions.
Of the Janssen vaccine, the Generalitat will be distributing 15,005 single doses to the large vaccination centres to be administered to the 51-59 age group.
Finally, the AstraZeneca vaccine will be used for first doses for the 60-65 age group as well as to complete the vaccination of this group.
In all cases, those who are to be called for vaccination will be contacted by telephone and/or an SMS via mobile phone with the date, time and place where the jab will be administered. As always, it is essential that SIP details are up to date and they can be checked and edited in this link.
