Turisme Comunitat Valenciana launches online Tourist Info Network

A new management tool will allow a personal but contactless service to the visitor, adapted to times of pandemic.

InfotouristAPI 2.0 is now available at Tourist Info offices and nearly 200 tourist info employees have been trained for its proper use.

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has accelerated the launch the digitization of the tourist information offices of the Tourist Info Network with the aim of strengthening the positioning of the Comunidad Valenciana as a smart tourist destination.

The new facility InfotouristAPI 2.0 is a tourist information management tool for real-time personal attention to tourists. This will allow the regional Tourist Info Offices to provide a personal but contactless service.

This InfotouristAPI 2.0 tool, which is already available in the offices of the Tourist Info Network, has several powerful improvements. On the one hand, it allows a multi-channel digitized personal service to the tourist from its beginning to its conclusion, with its statistical analysis and visitor survey.

On the other hand, it establishes new mechanisms to share, among all Tourist Info offices, information online, such as tourist guides, events and links of interest. And in addition, this new tool allows to expand the collection of visitor information, from their motivations and origins, to their experiences and assessments of the destination.

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana has carried out an online training activity, with one edition per province, and in which nearly 200 tourist info office employees from the Tourist Info Network have participated.

The Tourist Info Network of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana currently has more than 200 tourist information and customer reception offices that provide a service to tourists throughout the entire autonomous territory.

The tourist info employees of the Network receive our visitors advising them and informing them about the wide cultural, sports, natural, leisure and tourist activities in general offered by our destinations. The quality of the service, and the warmth of the attention, are decisive in the for clients loyalty, for the enjoyment of their stays and increase their satisfaction levels.

Likewise, the Network has become a fundamental tool for the complementing the tourist offer between the different destinations, since all the offices report on all the tourist attractions of the Comunidad Valenciana, and for the tourist promotion at the destination offering the sector its facilities as a platform for disseminating its offer.
