The press conference was attended by the councillor responsible for Economic Development, Juanlu Cardona (PP), the manager of FORXA, Jaume Serra, and the president of ARX, the Xàbia Restaurant Association, Jose Manuel Piña. Following the success of the previous edition, this year the campaign expands its reach by incorporating the retail sector, joining the already established gastronomic route.

In the hospitality sector, 24 participating establishments will offer tapas and drinks for €4. This tapas route will allow residents and visitors to discover local culinary creativity. Juanlu Cardona, the councillor responsible for Economic Development in Xàbia, explained that Tasta Xàbia is a campaign that goes far beyond promoting gastronomy: it’s an economic revitalization tool designed to activate the urban centres, highlight the efforts of the town’s professionals, and foster local consumer loyalty. “This year we’re taking a further step by incorporating local commerce, with more than 130 participating establishments and an attractive program that rewards customer trust.
