The government team in Xàbia has reported in a statement that it has awarded the contract to re-surface and asphalt a number of roads in the municipality to Pavasal for 662,749 euros. The company has also committed to reduce the execution time by 15 days, so that the project will last about four months and a half.

Pavasal will be re-surfacing around 75 streets in the town, most of them in the outlying urbanisations. The project is divided into five areas: Llucam Tarraula and Adsubia; Cabo de la Nao; Cap Martí, Arenal Tossalet; Montgó-Valls; urban centres and Cap de San Antoni.

In addition to the surfacing or re-surfacing tasks, the contract specifies that the company will also be required to carry out a number of complementary works such as the strengthening and waterproofing on the surfaces as well as the clearing or treatment of roots.
