HELP DESK ARRANGES CONFERENCE ON HEALTH MATTERS CONCERNING BRITISH RESIDENTS
Tuesday 26th March 2013

javeamigos.com | JAVEA: HELP DESK CHAT

As part of the initiatives to support foreign residents in Jávea, the Oficina de Atención al Residente Extranjero (Help Desk) has organised a special meeting with representatives from the British Consulate who will make a presentation on health matters concerning British citizens living in Spain. The meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday 23rd April and as with the past meetings provided by this initiative, attendance is free although interested parties will have to pre-register and this can be achieved either via email to help@ajxabia.org or in person at the Oficina de Atención Ciudadana in Avenida Amanecer (Portal del Clot).

Booking is necessary due to the massive interest in all the conferences held so far by the department headed by councillor Antón Óscar. A special meeting concerning new tax laws implemented by Central Government which was held last Friday (April 22nd) was fully booked and the Help Desk has decided to arrange a second meeting on the same subject to cater all those who were unable to secure a place for the initial date in which Ánton and two tax advisers were able to explain the details of the new legislation which has been implemented to fight against fraud and tax evasion.

Through these initiatives, the Oficina de Atención al Residente Extranjero (Help Desk) seeks to resolve many of the questions and problems related to administration that have been raised by those who have arrived from outside of Spain.
