PORT ZONE'S SUMMER CRAFT FAIR MOVES ONLINE DURING HEALTH CRISIS

javeamigos.com | PORT ZONE'S SUMMER CRAFT FAIR MOVES ONLINE DURING HEALTH CRISIS

The port zone's traditional summer craft fair will not be returning to the promenade this summer due to the continuing crisis causes by the COVID-19 virus. The fair is organised by the local business association in port in collaboration with the AMATA craft association and this year they have been unable to get council permission to hold the fair.

However this doesn't mean that lovers of beautiful hand-crafted work will necessarily miss out as AMATA has developed an online presence Pueblo Artesano Virtual [link], a virtual craft village where you can find the crafts people in their virtual workshops and buy their goods online, watch tutorials on how to make plates, soap, mugs, etc., view a special gallery and even play some online games.

And if you are looking for somebody you expected to find at the summer craft fair but can't find them in the virtual village, you can send an email to amata@gmail.com or telephone 639-979-678 (English spoken) to get in touch with them.

You can discover more about AMATA and keep up to date on any changes during the summer on their Facebook page [link].
