The Department of Culture in Xàbia has welcomed the arrival of Phase II of the de-escalation process by re-opening the exhibition rooms in Ca Lambert and the Soler Blasco Municipal Museum in the historic centre and the newly-repaired Casa de Cable in the port with new displays of art and culture. The centre will be following the appropriate sanitary measures with access control so that capacity is limited.

The first to open will be Ca Lambert - in the Casa de Tena in Carrer Mayor - which will be dedicating the month of June to local young artists from the Escola de Pintura Mediterránea who will be presenting their end of course works. The exhibition will be open to the public from Tuesday 2nd June. Opening times are 10.30am to 1.30pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm Tuesday to Friday with morning sessions only on Saturdays.

On Friday 5th June, the exhibition room in the Soler Blasco Municipal Museum in the heart of the historic centre will be displaying the collection entitled 'El Aplauso de la Meninas' by Amparo Mata Ribes. Opening times are 10.00am to 1.00pm and 5.00pm to 8.00pm Tuesday to Friday with morning sessions only on Saturdays, Sundays and fiesta days.

On Friday 12th June, the Casa del Cable in the Paseo Marina Española in the port will be re-opening with an exhibition by Marina Alta artist Jose Ginestar, the renowned plastic artist and contemporary sculptor, entitled 'D'Ahir I D'Ara'. Opening times are 10.30am to 1.30pm and 6.00pm to 9.00pm Tuesday to Saturday with morning sessions only on Sundays.

Vuelve el arte a Xàbia tras el confinamiento

El departamento de Cultura de Xàbia da la bienvenida a la fase dos del proceso de desescalada reabriendo las salas de arte con nuevas exposiciones. La primera en abrir será Ca Lambert –en la Casa de Tena- que, como es habitual, dedica el mes de junio a los artistas nóveles del municipio integrados en la Escola de Pintura Mediterránea que presentan sus trabajos de final de curso. La muestra estará a disposición del público desde el martes 2 de junio.

También apostando por el talento local vuelve la sala del Museu Soler Blasco, que el 5 de junio estrena la exposición “El Aplauso de las Meninas” de Amparo Mata Ribes.

Y por último, el viernes 12 de junio reabrirá la Casa del Cable con Josep Ginestar, el reconocido artista plástico y escultor contemporáneo de la Marina Alta y que presenta en Xàbia su trabajo “D’ahir i d’ara”.

Las salas reabrirán en su horario habitual y tendrán en la entrada las pertinentes medidas sanitarias y un control para que el aforo sea limitado.
