5th September 2018
long summer craft fair organised by AMATA in the port
zone of Jávea comes to an end tomorrow September
6th but that doesn't mean that the chance to buy some
real craft work has come to an end for several participants
want to continue straight away with the weekly Sunday
9th September the popular weekly morning craft market
returns to the port promenade in front of the Playa
de la Grava with a series of stalls which will be offering
something really special. Nothing is imported, nothing
made in factories, but everything carefully and lovingly
made by the people who are manning the stalls and chosen
this way of life to make a living so you'll not
find the "designer T-shirts" or "exclusive
designs" that make it to the galleries.
between 11.00am and 2.00pm - and possible later - there
will be stalls offering everything from soft and wooden
toys, water colours, ceramics, original jewellery which
had been made by recycled beer cans and even a stall
specialising in hand-made dog collars. There may be
different stalls each week making the craft fair a must-visit
event to find some interesting and unusual designs.
And at 12 noon there will be free children's workshops.
