Marinae Ensemble, the chamber music project led by Sergio Camarasa that was formed in the middle of this year, presents a commendable programme of concerts for this Christmas and New Year that will take them to perform not only in the Marina Alta, but also beyond its borders.

The first stop will be in Xàbia this Saturday 18th December. At the Convent de les Agustines in the Placeta del Convent in the old town, Marinae Ensemble will offer a repertoire that will transport the public to the world of the Baroque and enjoy the scores of Georg Friedrich Händel, Arcangelo Corelli and Giuseppe Torelli and the combination of the string instruments with the warm sound of the harpsichord. The concert will take place at 6.00pm and admission is free.

The other two performances will take place the first days of next year 2022. The first will be on Saturday 1st January in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell as part of the Poblera initiative to celebrate its own New Year’s Concert. The Santa María Magdalena parish will host the concert that will take place at 5.30pm. The following day, Sunday 2nd January, Marinae Ensemble will offer another concert at the San Nicolás de Bari Cathedral in Alicante at 8.30pm.

Marinae Ensemble was born with the desire to keep chamber orchestral music alive, to show that it has a place in society, to promote its diffusion, and to train its members beyond their respective musical centers.
