The Isbjorn Collective organised a very successful event on Saturday, its objective to raise awareness and collect plastic from the coast at Cala Sardinera in Xàbia.

The association brought together a group of volunteers who, complying with health and safety protocols, such as social distancing, organised themselves into five groups led by a supervisor, with the main aim of training and raising awareness whilst collecting and analyzing the rubbish found on the beach.

The most notorious part of this type of action is undoubtedly the awareness of the type of products that end up fouling our natural spaces.

The rubbish was taken to the port of Xàbia where the company responsible for collecting it was in charge of its final removal.

The Isbjorn Collective is a non-profit organisation that brings together professionals from very diverse specialities who are actively committed to sustainability and who have combined forces in joint actions to achieve the greatest social impact, such as training in the sustainability of the sea and the coastlines.
