Four young rugby players from Xàbia get regional call-up

The players from Xàbia Aguiles Rugby Club took part in a training session in Valencia.

Last weekend, four young players from the Xàbia Aguiles Rugby Club participated in a meeting of the Valencian Rugby Federation, with which they intend to form a team for the Under-14 category.

The players who participated were Sam Brooks, James Clary, Jack Davies and Finlay Rooney. The four played various matches along with another 50 called up for the training on the rugby field on the old Turia riverbed in the city of Valencia, under the watchful eye of coach Marcos Armiñana.

The club have expressed their pride for the call-up of these rugby players, who showed a high level, despite the fact that they could not pass to the second phase of the test.
