The journey through the most distinguished traditional places of La Marina Alta is about to begin. The Ruta dels Riuraus gets under way in March and will continue through until end in October after travelling through the ancientterritory of Diania.

It is a series of guided routes which led by Endèmica Natura (Maria Roselló) and aim to help the visitor discover the agricultural, natural, ecological and gastronomic diversity of the Marina Alta region. In fact, each of the proposed routes is themed to address different aspects of the idiosyncrasy of the riuraus – unique structures that were used in the raisin production industry.

For us, there really is nothing easier to show someone how much you appreciate their efforts than buying them a beer (or a wine; or even a coffee) – it’s so simple.
