Exhibitions and children’s theatre kick off December culture

Culture continues in the municipal halls of Xàbia this weekend with three new exhibitions, the debut of the annual nativity scene and children’s theatre.

Soler Blasco Museum, Xàbia Històrica

From Wednesday 11 December, new local artist Ana Cruañes, under her artistic name “Lual”, will be presenting “CERCA DE MÍ”, a exhibition of paintings using various techniques.

Casa del Cable, Paseo Marina Española, Puerto

Also, from Wednesday 11 December, Ibiza-based artist Alexandra Castelli’s will be presenting “ABSOLUTION”, a pictorial exhibition in which the artist reflects underwater portraits.

Espai d’Art Lambert, Carrer Mayor, Xàbia Històrica

Anton Gudzykevych’s “ESCHUCHANDO EL AIRE” is running until January 5th whilst the Betlemistes de Xàbia association will also exhibit a large nativity scene.

Casa de la Cultura, Plaça del Baix, Xàbia Històrica

Children’s theatre comes to town on Saturday 12th December ay 5.30pm with”GÜELA, GÚELA” performed by the Companiya Galitoon company, a story that has been specially designed for boys and girls between 2 and 6 years old, and tells humorously the story of the stork Güily. Tickets cost three euros and must be reserved in advance by calling 965 79 43 44.
