Dénia Hospital offers vaccine jabs without appointment on Saturday 19th February

The vaccine will be available to those adults wanting 1st, 2nd or 3rd booster jabs who meet the criteria to receive it as well as children.

Dénia Hospital Marina Salud is offering another opportunity for residents to receive their COVID vaccine without appointment on Saturday 19th February between 9.00am and 2.00pm in the Salon de Actos at the hospital.

The following schedule has been announced:

  • 9.00am-1.00pm – 1st and 2nd doses as well as 3rd booster jabs for those who meet the criteria to receive the vaccine, using the Moderna vaccine.
  • 1.00pm – 1.30pm – 2nd doses for children who had their first jab at least eight weeks prior and are now 12 years old and require the adult Pfizer vaccine.
  • 1.30pm – 2.00pm – 1st and 2nd doses for children aged 5 to 12 years of age who meet the criteria to receive the vaccine, using the children’s Pfizer vaccine.

NOTE
If you tested positive for COVID-19, you must wait at least 5 months before receiving the vaccine.

The period between doses is 6 months for those vaccinated using the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and 3 months for those vaccinated using the AstraZenica vaccine.

Those wishing to receive the vaccine must provide their SIP card and DNI (or other form of ID) when attending the hospital.
