An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at the heart of CD Jávea that has affected five players and will force the suspension of all sporting activity, including the next two matches that the senior side are due to play against CF UE Tavernes and CD Pedreguer.

Those affected have mild symptoms and have been confined to their homes to fulfill the mandatory quarantine period whilst the Department of Health tracks all possible contacts as well as the environment of the football club to determine the spread of the outbreak.
