Bar El Convent once again takes top spot in Tasta Xàbia 2025

Xàbia Council has declared this year’s Tasta Xàbia tapas route as a clear success, becoming a benchmark gastronomic event in the town. Despite being a shorter duration that last year, the official app was downloaded 859 times in just 15 days, compared to 1,304 times in the 30 days of the 2024 edition.

This represents a 31.8% increase in the daily download rate with an average of 57.3 downloads a day compared to 43.5 the previous year, making this edition the most successful yet. And it’s worth noting that many people had already downloaded the app for the previous year so they are not included in this year’s figures but have still actively participated in the event, All of this reflects the high public loyalty and growing engagement, especially among foreign visitors.

As for the ratings, the public were able to vote once for each dish offered by the 24 participating establishments with Bar El Convent retaining top spot with 746 votes, almost 250 more votes than 2024. In second-place was Bar El Bancalet (546 votes) and in third spot was Embruix (560). Mavita claimed fourth spot with 379 votes whilst Temblor attracted 351 votes.

As an incentive for participation, a raffle was also held among users for 12 vouchers worth 50 euros, courtesy of the participating establishments and the Xàbia Restaurant Association (ARX).

The Council and the organizers of Tasta Xàbia would like to publicly thank all participating establishments, the support of ARX, and the public’s warm welcome, which made this record-breaking edition possible.
