A total of 175 people participated in the Open Day organized by the Club Náutico Jávea last Sunday to publicize the different sports that can be practiced in the sailing school and in the wide bay of Xàbia.

The sailing club reported there was a constant back and forth of residents through the new sports classroom complex who were eager to discover better the options that the sailing school had to offer, both within the protective harbour walls of the port as well as in the waters in front of the beach of La Grava.

Javier Momparler, the sailing club’s sports director, considered the day to be a great success as many of those who attended had asked for more information about the activities that the club plans to organise over the summer, such as the sailing courses and the inter-school league that is organised with the participation of local schools in the town and with the collaboration of the local council.

For many years, you’ve told us how much you love what we’re doing and some of you have even asked for ways to say thanks. For us, there really is nothing easier to show someone how much you appreciate their efforts than buying them a beer (or a wine; or even a coffee) – it’s so simple.
