The Comunidad Valenciana registers 2,048 new cases of coronavirus.

2,048 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed through PCR or antigen tests; by province, the distribution of these new cases is 69 in Castellón, 1,175 in Valencia, and 777 in Alicante. In total, 346,146 positive cases have been recorded in the Comunidad Valenciana. There are currently 31 unassigned cases.

Outbreaks

There have been a total of 41 new outbreaks of the disease across the Comunidad Valenciana; by province, the distribution is 4 in Castellón, 28 in Valencia, and 9 in Alicante, of which 3 were in the Marina Alta region, affecting 14 people, as follows:

  • Gata de Gorgos: 1 outbreak (5 cases – social)
  • Teulada: 1 outbreak (5 cases – social)
  • Xàbia: 1 outbreak (4 cases – social)

There have now been 81 outbreaks of the coronavirus in the Marina Alta in 2021.

The origins of the new outbreaks in the Valencian region can be assigned 51% social, 39% education, 10% work.
