JAVEA CELEBRATES CARNAVAL 2012

Jávea celebrated 'Carnaval' in style on Saturday with hundreds of people in fancy dress flocking into the centre of the old town. The younger generation had their moment with an early evening parade through the streets in wonderful bright sunshine to the Plaza de la Constitución where they were entertained with a fun-packed show. Later in the evening, the older generation took to the streets in a noisy parade of colour and ingenuity before dancing into the early hours to the band 'The Vission' in the specially-erected marquee in the Plaza de la Constitución.
