THIRTY-THREE
WOMEN PASS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT COURSE Thursday 2nd
February 2012
Diplomas
were awarded to thirty-three women who attended business
management development courses organised by the town
hall and CREAMA. The women benefited from training with
Juan Luis Cardona, the councillor responsible for Economic
Development, expressing his hopes that it would "increase
their ability for self-employment and the opportunity
for more businesses and shops in town which will promote
employment and thus improve the local economy".
Cardona
was accompanied by Ulrike Wehr and Arline Francis-Kuhn,
representatives of Mujeres Emprenededoras de Jávea
(MEJ), who thanked the town hall and CREAMA for
their collaboration with their group. "These courses
have allowed us to learn the tools to improve our companies",
said Wehr.
Both MEJ and municipal representatives have shown their willingness to continue working together for the promotion of employment.
Among the topics covered by these courses are business strategy and business plan, market analysis and advertising, product policy and pricing policy, the legal forms of business and distribution policy, and finally, management of grants.
